Artwork can be ordered such as: paintings, sculptures, murals, illustrations, posters, renovation work…They are achieved and undersigned by the Atelier founder Rita Dagher Mekanna. Artwork dimensions, compositions, colors and mediums can be customized to client requirements. The time duration needed to achieve these artworks depends on the nature and the dimension of the piece of art.

Special Events

Workshops in fine arts can be organized by Rita D. Mekanna. They include academic trainings as well as creativity. Theseworkshops are open to everyone and can be adapted to academic and professional levels. Special events such as Christmas, Mother’s day…can be organized in these workshops.

Welcome to Rita Dagher Mekanna

Located in Hadath, Baabda, the “Atelier des Beaux-Arts Rita D. Mekanna” was founded in 2012 by Rita Dagher Mekanna, who holds a diploma degree in fine arts from the “Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts- Balamand University (ALBA)”. With more than 25 years of experience in the domain of teaching all kinds of fine arts, mentoring professionals and practicing art therapy, Rita decided to open her own atelier in 2012 to share her passion for arts with others and has evolved since then to include a workshop in Baabdat – Lebanon, in Dubai, and most recently in Cyprus.
In 2015, the atelier was granted, in accordance with decree No. 4253, by the LebaneseMinistry of Education, an official certification and became a certificated school which delivers Diplomas of Merit to students.
The atelier offers a wide variety of programs suitable for all ages and educational levels built on a pedagogical education which comprises technique and expressiveness.
Creativity is the main core of all programs. In fact, the techniques taught as well as the material provided to the students promote freedom of expression. The courses are customized and cover all types of fine arts, ranging from Illustration to art professions.
In addition, the atelier offers its students a relaxing pastime activity for them to express their ideas, expand their knowledge, improve their skills, or simply relax while creating.
